Jessica Simpson Blasts Melrose Place | SPIKE

Jessica Simpson was once a big fan of Melrose Place, but now that her sister’s been fired from the show the singer is singing a different tune.

Jessica Simpson has not taken kindly to little sister Ashlee being dumped from Melrose Place. She has attacked the show, calling it “crap.” The 29-year-old singer was once a fan of the show and would regularly send out Tweets promoting it and her sis. As recently as October 20th Jessica tweeted, “"Everyone watch my sis on melrose place tonight.”

Then Ashlee was fired and Jessica's true colors came out. Over the weekend she tweeted, “CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press.” Ouch!

It’s being reported that Ashlee was fired because she couldn’t act, and if you’ve seen the show it's pretty obvious. A source told Us Weekly that they hired Ashlee “because they needed a good name to help create buzz. But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible." So they basically used her and now they’re throwing her out with the trash.

The behind-the-scene drama of Melrose Place is more interesting than the actual show.
