Reactor PC is Liquid-Cooled

November 3, 2008

This looks like a hack made by some Battlestar Gallactica fanboy so that his desktop looks like a spaceship engine.  Lucky for you, it DOES happen to look like that, but the liquid-cooled innards of the Reactor PC (starting at $4550) actually have a purpose beyond the aesthetic.

The company claims this to be the first liquid-cooled PC of all time.  It’s marketed toward gamers and boasts an impressive 7.1 digital surround sound, Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core 3.2 GHz processors, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 3 SATA connectors, an Nvidia 790I Ultra SLI chipset and up to NVIDIA three video cards.
