Homemade Hydraulic Arcade Machine Drives Home the Awesome

March 19, 2010

For just under $9000 in parts, these guys may have created the ultimate at-home flight simulator.

Using a "set of three hydraulic systems" hooked up to a PlayStation 3 and a G25 driving wheel, the guys at Retro Gaming have re-created the feeling of the full-booth motion found in old school arcade games like Afterburner without forcing gamers to confront the outside world in order to do so! Just make sure you take your motion sickness medication before you jump on.
