Impromptu Goalie Race Impresses All 13 Viewers of NHL Skills Competition

bydavidbreitman   January 31, 2011 at 2:49PM  |  Views: 76

Did you watch the NHL Super-Duper Skills Competition this weekend? Me neither. But luckily for us, the NHL used the profits from last year’s game to buy a video camera and film the lone highlight worth watching from the 2011 festivities.

In this clip, Boston Bruins goalie Cam Ward tries to find out if he’s faster than Carolina Hurricanes Netminder Cam Ward. Nobody else was particularly curious, but the race happened anyways and it was mildly entertaining. Plus, if you listen closely, you can actually hear Alex Ovechkin gently sobbing in the background because people were paying attention to somebody else.
