Playboy Wants Justin Bieber’s Mom
Bieber fever has hit Playboy magazine. The iconic men’s magazine wants Justin Bieber’s mother to pose topless. The magazine reportedly offered Pattie Lynn Mallette $50,000 to pose topless in a multi-page pictorial. The 34-year-old single mom was instrumental in launching Justin’s career by posting his videos on YouTube. The sexy brunette is considered a MILF and would be a great, if slightly strange, get for Playboy. Pattie has not commented on the offer, though it is being reported that she has declined it. Is she digging for more cash? We’ll just have to wait and see. [ZackTaylor.ca]
Mel Gibson’s Baby Mama Drama
A nasty feud between Mel Gibson and his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva is a brewing. The two have headed to court and both taken out restraining orders against each other. Gibson got in first, though there is some confusion over whether he filed for a restraining order or an injunction against Ms. Grigorieva which would prevent her from dishing the dirt on him. Grigovrieva filed a restraining order against Gibson on Monday, alleging that Gibson was “extremely violent” towards her and harmed her physically. The couple split in April, some six months after the birth of their daughter Lucia. Grigorieva described the split as sudden and unexpected. [E! Online]

According to the Miami New Times, Ross is suing the rapper for stealing his name and image to make it big in the rap game. Time to Start Hating an Entirely Different African Country
The United States Soccer team begins their march to the World Cup (knock-out round edition) tomorrow at 2 p.m. EST against the small, yet easily hateable nation of Ghana. If America were to win their next two games, the 2010 team would become the most successful U.S. squad in nearly 80 years of World Cup play. So break out the red, white, and blue and cheer on the boys! America, HECK YEAH! [ESPN]
Seriously, Professional Athletes Really Suck With Money
Every week it seems like an NFL, NBA, or MLB star is telling the local newspaper how he blew millions of dollars on beautiful houses and expensive women (or the other way around). Well, today's bankruptcy du jour comes from Washington where former Pro Bowl quarterback Mark Brunnell claims to have squandered away $52 million. His ironically title real estate company "Champions LLC" invested heavily in the market several years ago and ended up being the primary source of his economic dismay. "The timing of the group's real estate acquisitions at the height of the real estate market, in hindsight, clearly was not good," Brunell said while kicking dirt in the ground. Apparently buy high, foreclose low is not a winning strategy. [ESPN]
