WoW Will Kick You Out of College

The FCC commissioner has looked into the major reasons that the kids can’t stay in the picture these days.  Surprisingly, torrid affair with a busty English professor who hides her wanton sexuality behind horn rimmed glasses is NOT on the list.  If you’re okay with that omission (I’m not), then you might be interested to know they blame World of Warcraft.

Game Politics reports:

…a late 2006 survey that showed 59% of parents think the internet has been a totally positive influence in their children’s lives-- down from 67% in 2004.

You might find it alarming that one of the top reasons for college drop-outs in the U.S. is online gaming addiction - such as World of Warcraft - which is played by 11 million individuals worldwide.

So what?!  Maybe it is indeed the major best reason to drop out of college.  Now we just know we’re not making a horrible mistake so much as embarking on at mystical journey of self discovery and the fraternity only offered by The Hoard.
