Spike TV has an official lineup for its free broadcast of UFC 105 on November 14th from Manchester, England.
Randy Couture and Brandon Vera will headline the card in a bout that could potentially put “The Truth” in the title picture. His career has been very up and down over the past few years but since he dropped to light heavyweight, he seems more focused and determined. He’s currently only on a two-fight winner but he looked sharp in his last fight with Krzysztof Soszynski and a win over Randy Couture could be enough to convince the matchmakers that he’s finally arrived. It’s not likely to earn him an immediate title shot, but it could put him in the picture.
The entire card looks like this:
Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera
Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang
Mike Swick vs. Dan Hardy
James Wilks vs. Matt Brown
Ross Pearson vs. Aaron Riley
Terry Etim vs. Shannon Gugerty
Paul Taylor vs. John Hathaway
Nick Osipczak vs. Matthew Riddle
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jared Hamman
Andre Winner vs. Roli Delgado
Michael Bisping has a lot of ground to make up after his loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100, but this fight against Kang is no small test and could help him get back on the right track. The Swick/Hardy fight is likely to determine the no. 1 contender spot at welterweight a.k.a. Georges St-Pierre’s next victim. And rounding out the broadcast portion of the card will be both of The Ultimate Fighter: US vs. UK winners James Wilks and Ross Pearson taking on tough competition in Matt Brown and Aaron Riley, respectively.
