People in Cleveland Find Productive, Musical Ways to Hate LeBron James
Internet chat rooms and 200-foot billboards are so 2009. Today’s most discerning spite enthusiasts are finding exciting new ways to express their sports-themed animosity. Like this gentleman, who wrote a catchy hate anthem about LeBron James.
Written and performed by Mike Polk - a popular Cleveland-area comic – this aptly titled tune makes some valid points about James’ basketball legacy and his mothers’ romantic relations with a gun-wielding teammate.
It’s a real crowdpleaser and hopefully a trend that will catch on.
Hell, after watching this, I’m tempted to get my short-lived high school punk rock band back together to scribe the song “Lowered Expectations: The Dion Phaneuf Ballad.”
