In honor of The Comedy Awards airing April 10 on Comedy Central, our awesome pals over at NextMovie got Old Red Jalopy to design a series of five faux comic book covers illustrating some of the most iconic comedians as the heroes we’ve always wanted them to be. The awesome comic book covers feature Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy and Tina Fey as retro crime fighters using laughter as their secret weapon. Geek overload. Hit the jump right now, y’all.

Here's Eddie:

Head on over to Next Movie to check out all of the amazing comic book covers.

The Comedy Awards will air this Sunday, April 10 at 9/8c simultaneously on Comedy Central, Spike TV, CMT, Logo, TV Land, VH1, and Nick at Nite. Hit the Comedy Awards website for all the info.
