Sometimes Goalies Can Take a Hit

January 22, 2010

In hockey, goaltenders are a lot like slutty teenage Catholic school girls you see shopping for Miley Cyrus-related products at the mall. They’re high maintenance, desperate for attention, and for the love of God you’re not allowed to touch them… That is, of course, until they leave the crease (or turn 18).

Montreal Canadiens netminder Carey Price learned this lesson the hard way, when a defensive zone collision left him flat on his back and looking for revenge.

It’s not very often I give props to the Habs, but I’m impressed with the way your goaltender handled this.
