Michael Jackson Needs to Eat a Hamburger
Michael Jackson has been advised to down some serious protein before his comeback shows in London this summer amid concerns the King of Pop is "too frail" to complete his grueling 50-date tour.
The King of Pop is set to perform a huge run of gigs starting in July and running through 2010. Although promoters AEG insist Jackson is "extremely fit," insiders claim he is being urged to eat more because he is 20 pounds underweight.
A source recently told The Sun, "There are concerns Michael is too frail. He has been ordered to eat more but he refuses to and eats like a bird."
Jackson has been plagued by rumors of ill health for months, with numerous internet postings including tales of a flesh-eating infection and a deadly lung condition known as Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Dang.
The shows will be his first since 2001.
