Corey Haim is Dead | SPIKE

Corey Haim, the ‘80s teen heartthrob whose career was plagued by years of drug abuse, has died at the age of 38.

Los Angeles County coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie has stated that Haim died early this morning at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. ''As he got out of bed, he felt a little weak and went down to the floor on his knees,'' Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said.

Police and paramedics were called to St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank by Haim’s mother shortly before 4 AM PT to investigate. There is no word on the official cause of death, but some sources are saying it was a possible overdose.

Haim was reportedly in and out of rehab 15 times, but cleaned up in 2004 after moving to Toronto. RIP Corey Haim.
