Freestyle Motocross Star Jeremy Lusk, Dead at 24
Freestyle motocross star Jeremy Lusk, 24, has died as a result of head injuries sustained in a weekend crash during a competition in Costa Rica.
Lusk was competing in the X-Knights contest in Costa Rica on Saturday night. As the video below shows, the accident occurred when Lusk didn't make a full rotation while attempting a Hart Attack backflip. Docotrs at Calderon Hospital determined that he'd sustained serious brain and spinal cord trauma. He was placed into a medically-induced coma but was not able to pull through.
