Floyd Mayweather Disappointed that His Girlfriend Didn't Cheat on Him with a Better NBA Player
Finding out that your girlfriend is sleeping with another man is difficult. Discovering that the man is a backup point guard on an NBA team that barely edged out the Toronto Raptors for an Eastern Conference playoff spot is damn near soul-crushing.
Floyd Mayweather, fresh off a racist YouTube rant, was arrested for stealing his baby momma’s cell phone after reading a text message from Chicago Bulls bench player CJ Watson.
"'Are you having sex with C.J.?” Mayweather asked, according to police reports.
“Yes, that is who I'm seeing now," she replied.
Following this oddly polite exchange, details of what transpired are rather blurry, though some combination of iPhone theft, extensive screaming, and various anti-Chicago Bulls sentiments came into play.
Currently, Mayweather has been charged with Grand Larceny, and may face domestic abuse charges as well.
