by Spike   December 15, 2014 at 12:00PM  |  Views: 10,683

In an age where everyone DVRs everything, commercials have to stand out to get noticed. When people seek you out, or spend the next year quoting your catchphrase, that's when you know you've achieved something magical. This year, Spike is proud to present the funniest commercials of 2014, hosted by Gabriel Iglesias December 18 at 10/9c.

Here are a few of our picks for the spots most likely to be quoted, YouTubed, and most importantly-- not DVR'd through.

Everyone remembers the Doritos Time Machine:

And the Value City Furniture commercial that made you gag:

The highly productive Old Spice meeting:

Colon 101
's one hundred and one stains... in a row:

And GoDaddy telling you to "stick it!":

Want to check out a few of the previous years' winners? No worries, we've got you covered.

Remember the Doritos slingshot baby? Hard to believe that was all the way back in 2012:

Or the CareerBuilders monkey meeting, also from 2012:

2012 was a great year for commercials. Lets not forget Cravendale's fear of cats evolving:

How about Drench's goldfish gladiator training in 2010:

And last, but certainly not least, Vigorsol's 2007 winner:

Remember to tune in December 18 at 10/9c to see much more of this year's commercial history in the making.
