Victoria's Secret's Sexy Search for New Angel
Lingerie maker Victoria’s Secret held an open casting over the weekend to find the next Angel and over 2,000 girls turned up vying to be to join the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and Marisa Miller.
The wannabe Angels descended upon Yankee Stadium in New York City, hoping to win a spot on this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The line of women, some of whom camped out overnight, were judged by Victoria’s Secret Executives on their poise and beauty. The group of women was then whittled down to 17 semi-finalists who then disrobed and showed off their bikini bodies.
Other open call castings are scheduled across the country and Victoria’s Secret will select 10 finalists and send them off to Victoria’s Secret Model Boot Camp. It will then be up to the public to vote and decide which worthy woman deserves the wings and a place on the famed Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway.
