A Muslim actress has been cut off from her family after posing for the German issue of Playboy magazine. Sila Sahin is a 25-year-old Turkish German famous for her role on the German soap opera Good Times, Bad Times. She has long been considered a “glowing example of how a modern Muslim girl should behave in a multicultural society,” her family. Sahin has no regrets, saying, “For me, these pictures are an act of liberation from the cultural constraints of my childhood. I have tried to please everybody for too long. With these images I want to show young Turkish women that it is OK to live the way they are; that it is not cheap to show skin; that you should pursue your goals instead of bowing down to others.” She says she now feels “free at last.” [Daily Mirror]

Somehow Reality Television Star Bethenny Frankel Made $120 Million

Reality television star Bethenny Frankel has turned a stint on The Real Housewives of New York into a huge pay day. The 40-year-old, who now stars in her own reality television show Bethenny Ever After, has just sold her Skinnygirl cocktail line for a whopping $120 million. Frankel started the company, which sells low calorie cocktail mixes, in 2009 while appearing on the Bravo reality television show. She told The Hollywood Reporter, “I went on "Housewives" single-handedly and exclusively for business.” Frankel says she used the show to promote her cocktail line and books at any opportunity. That savvy behavior has made her the richest reality television star in the world. [Hollywood Reporter]

"Weird" Al Yankovic Gets Approval for Lady Gaga Parody

After a few missteps and an apparent rejection, "Weird" Al Yankovic has officially announced that his parody of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" has finally been approved by the outlandish musician herself. After Gaga's manager admitted to never passing the parody "Perform This Way" along to the pop star for approval, "Weird" Al gleefully told fans the good news today via the Internet."[Gaga's manager]'s sorry. And Gaga loves the song," Yankovic wrote. "I'm thrilled on many levels to hear this, because 1) I truly respect and admire Gaga as an artist and it pained me to think of her as having less than a great sense of humor, and 2) it means I GET TO PUT OUT MY ALBUM!" The parody is set to be featured on Al’s next LP Alpocalypse. Hit the link to hear the new parody track. [USA Today]

Tina Fey Admits Inspiration for 30 Rock’s Tracy Jordan

During a very recent stop to the Conan show, Tina Fey surprisingly revealed that her 5-year-old daughter has been the key inspiration for most of the random hilarity that comes out of Tracy Morgan's mouth week after week on NBC’s hit show 30 Rock. "It fits perfectly. And I've said some of her things, too. She's said, 'I want to go to there,' and we used that for Liz Lemon one time," Fey said. "With Tracy we had her say, 'Touch my knees-butt,' which is some weird thing she used to say.” We should’ve known all along. Genius. [Digital Spy]
