Paris Hilton Wants You to Know She’s One of a Kind

by ncoles   March 30, 2011 at 4:10PM  |  Views: 2,016
The woman who pioneered being famous for being famous says she is not threatened by imitators and has accomplished all she can.

The heiress took a dig at other so-called celebrities, like Kim Kardashian, who have jumped on her bandwagon and followed her path to fame. Paris bluntly says, “There's so many people out there who try to imitate what I do but I am the original. There is nothing like me.”

Hilton is the poster child of being famous for being famous. She has capitalized on that fame, successfully creating a lasting and very lucrative career. This includes a line of fragrances, roles in B-movies, reality television shows, multiple product endorsements, a sex tape, and autobiography. Her steps to success are studied like a playbook by other wannabe celebutantes.

Hilton may be headed for retirement because, according to her, she has achieved all she has wanted (and she’s only 30.) She told The Associated Press, “I have done everything that I wanted to do and I feel very blessed that I have been very successful on every area. So it's very exciting. There is nothing else to do.” Nothing, except make tons of money.
