Gisele Gives Birth

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has given birth to a baby boy. Husband Tom Brady announced the birth of the yet-to-be-named child this morning. Brady described his son’s birth as “a wonderful experience in my life” and that he “didn't get much sleep last night.” It is Bündchen’s first child and Brady’s second. Brady has a two-year old son with actress Bridget Moynahan. Gisele and Tom tied the knot early this year in a private ceremony in Los Angeles after dating for two years. [People]

Jessica and Billy Make a Strange Couple

Jessica Simpson is reportedly dating Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. The two were recently spotted out and about in New York City. A source close to Simpson says, “"She has fallen hard and is smitten” and that the pair is “officially dating.” Those close to Simpson are worried that she’s making a mistake and point to the huge age gap between the two singers. Jessica is 29 years old, while Billy is 42. A friend of Jessica’s says, “He's just another in an endless string of Jessica's boyfriends. They think he's too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They're sick of all of them being 'the one.'” With friends like this, who needs enemies? [E! Online]

Vera Farmiga Will Have You Up in the Air

Up in the Air, the new movie by Jason Reitman, stars George Clooney and Vera Farmiga, and Esquire has recently posted a saucy batch of pictures that will inspire you to watch the film. Vera Farmiga is quite the eyeful, and it’s easy to see why anyone would want to see more of her in her new film. If you were on the fence about Up in the Air, these photos will change all that. Pee-Wee’s Playhouse: The Movie

That’s right, we might just have a new Pee-Wee movie heading our way. Paul Reubens is about to begin a live multimedia show in Los Angeles at Club Nokia starting on January 12, and if it rekindles his popularity from the ‘80s, he’s got a script that’s ready to go. It’s titled: Pee-Wee’s Playhouse: The Movie. Reubens said that only two sequences would take place inside the playhouse, and that the rest of the film would be in “the real world.” So if you’ve been watching his only two films and reruns of his show over and over again, worry not: new material is on the way. Whoever said the children of celebrities don't grow up to be well-adjusted citizens never met Nikolai Bonds. The 19-year-old son of baseball's Home Run king was arrested yesterday for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after he tried to take his mother's head off by hurling a door knob at it. Luckily he has his father's throwing arm and missed completely. [CBS 5]

Bruce Springsteen Speaks Out For Gay Marriage

It's official: Bruce Springsteen is backing gay marriage in New Jersey. Bruce Springsteen posted a statement on his website urging support of the gay marriage bill that's up for a vote in New Jersey's Senate on Thursday. Springsteen wrote that he's long believed in and has "always spoken out for the rights of same-sex couples." Springsteen says he agrees with Governor Jon Corzine that marriage equality is a civil rights issue. New Jersey's State Senate will vote on the marriage equality bill tomorrow, after a Senate panel voted 7-6 on Monday to bring the bill to a full vote. Democrats concede the measure may fall short of the 21 votes needed to pass the Senate. [Billboard]

AT&T Openly Admits Their Service Sucks, Plans to Solve by Raising Prices

If an iPhone app designed solely to report crappy coverage doesn't say it loudly enough, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega admitted today that AT&T's service is less than ideal in New York and San Francisco, saying they're "performing at levels below our standards." It's "going to get fixed." He promises. Disconcertingly, he made reference to AT&T's favorite stat, that three percent of smartphone customers push 40 percent of data, and that they're looking at incentives—as the WSJ put it—that'll get those people to cut back, "in a way that's consistent with net-neutrality and FCC regulations." Assuming he means a pay-per-byte data plan, that Motorola Droid is starting to look pretty good. [Computer World]
