Miss Universe LOVES Guantanmo Bay

by girls   March 31, 2009 at 4:15PM  |  Views: 65

The current Miss Universe, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela, recently traveled to Guantanamo Bay and had the time of her life. The 22-year-old could not stop gushing about the world’s most notorious prison. She wrote on her blog that the trip “was a loooot of fun!" and she “didn’t want to leave” because it was such “a relaxing place, so calm and beautiful.” This could help explain why those guys in orange jumpsuit refuse to leave.

Dayana was visiting troops as part of a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. She made the world’s harshest prison sound like a Club Med.  On her blog she outlines all the sites she visited, including the "detainees camps" where she saw “the jails, where they shower, how the recreate [sic] themselves with movies, classes of art, books.”

It sounds like President Barack Obama has a solution for Guantanamo Bay. He can turn it into the prison version of Disneyland.

Now where can I book tickets?
