The She-Devil Wants an Apprentice?

There have been reports lately that troubled pop star Amy Winehouse wants to turn her vacation spot of St. Lucia into a permanent residence by taking in a few underprivileged children. This can't be real.

Amy Winehouse is said to be very desperate to give a child from St. Lucia a home and has vowed to settle on the Caribbean island if it will improve her chances of success. Amy first travelled to St. Lucia in a bid to overcome her drug addiction. Seems like it really worked, btw.

A source has said that "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background.” Duh.

Amy’s official spokesperson recently tried to squash adoption rumors by saying that Amy actually wants to help underprivileged boys and girls on the island:

...the star's spokesman insists Winehouse isn't thinking of adopting in the literal sense - explaining that the singer is determined to offer a helping hand to childrens' community projects in the resort. He says, "Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project."

Amy Winehouse needs to have no children in her life. Crack pipes and kids don’t mix.
