Britney Spears Has a Case of the Retouch

by girls   April 13, 2010 at 7:21PM  |  Views: 737

In the latest print campaign for Candies clothing, Britney Spears shows off her bangin’ body in a cutout swimsuit. The only problem is it's not entirely her own body.

She’s been “slimmed down” with the help of Photoshop. In a highly unusual move, Britney has released the unretouched photographs from that recent shoot.  In the pre-airbrushed pics Spears looks great, though it’s obvious some retouching has been done. She appears to have a smaller waist, slimmer thighs and has had some bruises and a tattoo digitally removed.

Britney is said to be “proud of her body – imperfections and all.” She wanted the undoctored photographs released to help promote positive body image.

What do you think? Should she have been airbrushed in the first place?

Here are some of the retouched photos from the campaign
