Soulja Boy Puts Himself in the Line of Fire

There aren't any written rules to musical stardom but there are a few unscripted rules that will get your career going down in flames faster than a Ford Pinto flying off a cliff. A surefire one is putting down the troops.

Soulja Boy learned that rule the hard way when he dissed our fighting forces in a new video released on Monday.

The video for the track titled "Let's Be Real" actually features the line, "F--k the FBI/And f--k all the Army troops/B---h, be your own man/I'll be flying through the clouds/With green like I'm Peter Pan."

The controversial line sent the video across the Interwebs as a viral hit, but for all the wrong reasons. The nation's military men and women have responded by launching an online petition to push for a ban on the sale of all Souja Boy materials and memorabilia at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.

Soulja Boy has since issued an apology for his offending lyrics.
