Games

Hot on the heels of the Firewalker Pack announcement comes Mass Effect 2's newest DLC: Kasumi’s Stolen Memory. Kasumi is a new character that can join your team at any point in Mass Effect 2 RPG-meets-3rd person shooter action. It amounts to about an hour-and-a-half of new content, but also introduces a new gun, new grenade type (flashbangs!), and new outfit for your Shepard to wear aboard the ship.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call: New Orleans is the wild crime drama directed by Werner Herzog and starring Nicolas Cage. Even though it appears to borrow superficially from Abel Ferrara's 1992 film, Bad Lieutenant, which featured a crooked cop (Harvey Keitel) who is a drug addict and takes sexual favors as bribes, the film still has its own original vibe. In the film, Nicolas Cage plays a New Orleans Police Sergeant who injures his back while rescuing a prisoner during Hurricane Katrina. After receiving a medal and a promotion to Lieutenant for his heroism, he becomes addicted to prescription pain medication and quickly graduates to cocaine, heroin, crack, and marijuana. Get this.

Slash is the upcoming debut solo album by former Guns N' Roses and current Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash. The album was produced by Eric Valentine (The All-American Rejects, Good Charlotte, Queens of the Stone Age) and features multiple musicians including four of the five members of the Appetite for Destruction-era Guns N' Roses lineup: Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, and Steven Adler. Slash does songs with Ozzy Osbourne, Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale, and even Lemmy. This is a must for all diehard GNR fans.
