Miley’s Little Sister Gets Raunchy

Child star Miley Cyrus is no stranger to causing controversy by posing in sexually suggestive poses. Now her little sister has followed suit. Noah Cyrus, age 9, was recently photographed at a pre-party for the Teen Choice Awards cozying up to a stripper pole with a group of friends. Critics are crying, “Too Young.” Could this mean she is headed for life as a stripper? Oh, the price of having famous siblings. [Dlisted]

Susan Boyle Gets...Sexy ?!?!

Singer and viral video sensation Susan Boyle is featured in a photo spread in the current issue of your grandma’s favorite magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. She appears in her own photo spread and looks, well, better. One could say, even sexy. Okay, maybe not, but gone are the frumpy outfits, frizzy hair, and pale skin. Susan still looks like a farmer's wife, but instead of looking like she just returned from working the farm, she looks like she ready for a night out at the local pub. [Harper's Bazaar]

Liam Neeson is an Unknown White Male

Liam Neeson has lined up a role for when he’s done shooting the remake of Clash of the Titans and The A-Team. He’s set to play a man who gets in a car wreck and has his identity (and wife) stolen by another man. His wife no longer recognizes him and he’s left with little to call his own. The director who brought us Orphan and House of Wax, Jaume Collet-Serra, is going to direct, with Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell doing the adaptation of Dider Van Cauwelaert’s novel Out of My Head. Good to see that Neeson is keeping busy with work. [/Film]

Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio Take on New World

Aldous Huxley’s 1931 novel, Brave New World, is in development at Universal, where Ridley Scott is looking to direct it and Leonard DiCaprio is interested in starring. Farhad Safinia, the man who wrote Apocalypto, is signed on to write the script. After Scott’s Robin Hood film wraps, and after DiCaprio is finished filming Christopher Nolan’s Inception, neither of the men had anything lined up. Brave New World is a dystopian novel set in the 26th century where families are outlawed and births are tightly overseen by the government. DiCaprio is probably interested in the role of Bernard. So for everyone who has to read this book in high school, rejoice: a live action Cliff Notes could soon be on its way. [Risky Business Blog]

Jay-Z, Kanye, Rihanna to Perform on Premiere of The Jay Leno Show

Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kanye West will appear together on the debut broadcast of The Jay Leno Show on Monday, September 14th on NBC. The trio is set to perform "Run This Town," the newest track from Jay-Z's upcoming LP The Blueprint 3, which is set for release on September 11th. The show marks Leno's switch from late night into primetime, airing at 10pm EST five nights a week.

Jay Leno to Host His Own Version of BBC's Top Gear?

Despite Jay's well-known obsession with automobiles, The Tonight Show was essentially car-free, instead choosing to focus on Miley Cyus, American Idol, and politics. Yawn. But Leno's new show looks to address that serious oversight. According to new reports, the show will feature celebrities racing against each other in "advertiser-friendly" challenges involving green cars. In fact, NBC has already built a racetrack next to Leno's studio. Says Jay, "You can see who is faster, Shaquille O'Neal or Cameron Diaz." We've always wondered. [Thrfeed]

Cash for Clunkers Program Extended

Late Wednesday, the Senate reached an agreement that would pour an additional $2 billion into C4C coffers. Additionally, consumers will now have until September 1st to trade in their old cars and receive a voucher for between $3,500 to $4,500. The new plan was largely pushed through by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who pointed out that Democrats have enough votes to approve the new plan as well as reject any changes to it. [Fox News]
