For those of you that missed the far-too-small release of this big indie flick in a small package, Hobo with a Shotgun gives action exploitation an updated twist with tons of epic one-liners and brutal carnage. Daddy like. In it, cult icon Rutger Hauer stars as a homeless vigilante who blows away crooked cops, pedophile Santas, and other local scumbags with his trusty pump-action shotgun. The new Blu-ray Collector's Edition includes More Blood, More Heart: The Making of Hobo with a Shotgun, a behind-the-scenes interactive Shotgun Film Mode, the faux trailer contest winner and deleted scenes. This movie is seriously all kinds of amazing. It’s cinematic insanity at its finest, guys. Support it.

Music

Drums Between the Bells
Source: Warp

Drums Between the Bells is a brand new full-length collaboration between music legend Brian Eno and poet Rick Holland. Out on Warp Records, Drums Between the Bells can be picked up on CD as well as a spiffy new double vinyl set. Eno and Holland have been pals since the late-90s and started recording tracks together back in 2003. After Eno dropped his 2010 LP Small Craft on a Milk Sea, the interesting pair finally decided to complete a project with one another and release it to the world. Based on the awesome first single “Glitch,” Eno and Holland are handing listeners a wide array of distorted digital recipes mixed with unique as well as hypnotic robot-like vocals. True professionals at work. Get it.
