Leaked Footage of Dell Streak Tablet Hits the Net

by bradiger   January 14, 2010 at 2:38PM  |  Views: 88

Video footage of Dell's new 5-inch, touchscreen, Android-based mobile Internet device has found its way onto the 'tubes. Prepare to be transported to a land of mystical wonder - and we're not just talking about the background music.

This footage shows off various components of the not-quite-a-cell-phone and not-quite-a-tablet-PC device, including the customized keyboard, navigation, fully-functional multitouch interface, and various apps.

Sporting a 800 x 480 resolution screen, Android 2.0, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, Dell hopes the Streak will become the Swiss Army knife of mobile internet gadgets. Let's hope they get that bootup time sorted out.
