‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, has tragically passed away at the age of 58.
According to reports from TMZ
, Savage, Randall Mario Poffo, was driving his Jeep Wrangler in his home state of Florida with his wife and suffered a heart attack. Macho apparently then lost control of his car and "collided head-on with a tree." Savage was eventually taken to Largo Medical Center where he died shortly thereafter. Savage’s new wife Lynn only sustained minor injuries. According to police, both Randy and his wife were indeed wearing seat belts. They also confirmed that there seems to be no foul play involved.
Savage first broke into the wrestling business back in 1973 and eventually became of one of the biggest names in the sport. Not only was Randy amazing on the mic, his in-ring ability is nothing short of legendary. This is a huge loss for the business. RIP Randy ‘Macho Man’ SavagePhoto: Ron Galella, Ltd./Getty Images
