The remake is about a 12-year-old boy in a New Mexico town in the early 1980s who develops a friendship with a very young vampire. I know vampire movies are all the rage these days, but I gotta say that this one looks like a diamond in the rough. Chloë Moretz (Hit Girl from Kick-Ass) co-stars with Kodi Smit-McPhee.
