Lindsay Lohan Accused of Hit-and-Run | SPIKE

Lindsay Lohan has been out of rehab for just over a week but could already be in trouble with the law again. The embattled actress has been accused of hitting a woman and a baby with her brand new Maserati in an apparent hit-and-run.

Two of the first things Lindsay Lohan did after leaving rehab was get her driver’s license renewed and purchase a brand new Maserati. Now this decision could result in Lohan returning to jail. RadarOnline is reporting that several people witnessed Lohan accidentally hit a woman pushing a child in a stroller across a street and then flee the scene.

Lohan’s error was apparently failing to look both ways before making a turn. Witness Brayan Jaime told Radar Online, "There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two- or three-year-old crossing the street. Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn't super hard, but she made an impact and hit them." After hitting the child and woman, Lohan “pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going.”

Rival gossip blog TMZ is not completely buying the story.  They claim Jaime is a freelance paparazzi who’s looking to cash in (and apparently did). They note that she did not contact the police and that no police report has been filed. Jaime also sold video footage shot after the incident to RadarOnline. The footage does not show the actual incident.

When contacted by RadarOnline about the accident, Lohan responded by saying, “I don't know what you're talking about.”
