Bloom App turns iPhone into an Instrument

by Reverend_Danger   October 10, 2008 at 6:25PM  |  Views: 48

An iPhone app from the dude that produced U2’s Where the Streets Have No Names gives you the power to create your own songs with your fingertips and an iPhone.  None of that silly “learning the craft of an instrument” for you.  No, sir.

Described as “Part instrument, part composition, and part artwork…” Bloom, consists of floating, semi-opaque circles that you can tap.  This illicits varying tones which are then automatically looped into what often turns out as sort of ambient electronica.  Best used when, High as F***
