Comic book adaptations are almost always box office positive yardage, case in point this past weekend's The Dark Knight eruption. But Comic-book fans can be totally insane too!

Take Watchmen. Once a ground-breaking Graphic Novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, now an anticipated movie from Zach Snyder. This, my friends, is a different breed of comic and it’s going to be interesting how it is received, critiqued, and/or potentially sunk in the fanboy eye. There's been a trailer out for a weekend, and the cult of passionate fans already has the scalpel out and critical glasses on.

Brad Brevent, at Rope of Silicon, has already broken down the trailer and compared it with the original graphic novel. It's an interesting juxtaposition...
