Metallica Tries to Save Independent Record Stores

On Saturday, April 19th, over 300 independently owned record stores across America and parts of the UK joined together for Record Store Day, an event celebrating the independent record store and its place in the cultural landscape.

The dudes from Metallica decided to support this fantastic event by traveling to the Rasputin Music store in Mountain View, CA for an in-store meet-and-greet with some of their vintage metal fans. James and Kirk also reminisced about their favorite indie record shops and explained why they are so important for music. Check the footage...
