Kathryn Bigelow's The Hurt Locker took home Oscar gold last night in six of the nine categories in which it was nominated, including Best Picture and Best Director. Check out the full list of the evening's winners after the jump.

Though a critical favorite, The Hurt Locker surprised some by winning out over Avatar, James Cameron's billion dollar Goliath, which also took home several awards in technical categories.
