Wow, everybody, I had a great Labor Day weekend! I hope you all had a great one, too. It’s a time of cookouts and end-of-summer activity and I enjoyed it to the fullest. At least as much as I could with Dr. Stevie's $50,000 bounty still on my head.
I have fended off Jethro Holiday and the Motor City Machine Guns thus far but my biggest test will come at No Surrender as Kevin Nash has taken Dr. Stevie up on the bounty. I know Kevin is doing it just for the $50,000, but he is a crafty ring veteran and I am going to have to be on top of my game to fend him off. I think I am going to go to my great friend Mick Foley for advice on how to prepare for Kevin. I just know that Dr. Stevie has something up his sleeve. I know it’s eating at him that Mick and I have become friends. It’s awesome because I’ve always idolized Mick and now having the chance to be his friend and be at his side is a great feeling. I know I can count on Mick to be there for me. I can’t wait to see Mick this Thursday on iMPACT. I’ve heard he’s got a surprise for me. I wonder what it is. I love surprises.
Speaking of surprises, I attended football alumni weekend at my alma mater Ohio University this past weekend. It was an awesome experience. Very therapeutic and quite exciting as I got to see a lot of my classmates and former teammates. Wow, the campus has changed so much and there is so much more on the campus now than when I attended there. We never had a Chipotle or an Olive Garden when I went there. It was amazing to see the growth. I even saw my former football coach Tom Lichtenberg. It was great to see him. It reminded me of a simpler time before I began to have all my family and psychiatric problems. I even got to see the new and improved facility where I played football. Wow, I wish we would have had these facilities when I was there. Maybe we would have been a better football team if we would have had such amenities. Maybe not, who knows. I even got to share some time with former teammates and current class members from my Masters program in Sports Administration and Facility Management. They were all so excited to see me, as I was them. They all said they always knew I would make it in wrestling. I certainly made my dreams known to them while I was attending school there. I even got to see some of the pub owners that were STILL there from when I was there. It was great seeing them and getting back in touch.
