Monster Blog: The Man in the Blue Flannel Shirt

Hey, everyone!!  I hope you are all doing great. I am so excited because of the happenings over the last week.  I am sure most of you already know, especially if you saw last week’s iMPACT, but Mick Foley and I bonded.

He wanted to see me and I was so nervous, but when I went to see him all he wanted to do was THANK me for the assist by chasing Kevin Nash off after their Hard Justice Pay-Per-View encounter.  For those of you who don’t know, I came to the ring and chased Kevin Nash off when he was going to further injure the Hardcore Legend.  Well, Mick did more than just thank me, he gave me a gift, and after a little confusion because I thought it was a bag of groceries, I opened it to reveal the most beautiful and meaningful gift I have ever received. It was a flannel shirt, just like Mick’s, only blue in color.  I was beside myself and honestly began to tear up a little until Mick reminded me that wrestlers don’t cry.  I was overcome with emotion and gave the hardcore legend a huge hug. Boy, I hope I didn’t freak him out.  I have always idolized and respected Mick.  It was a great moment between him and me. One that I will never forget.  I hope I get to see him again this week on iMPACT.

Speaking of iMPACT, the $50,000 bounty is still in place on my head. Dr. Stevie is obviously not going to stop until I am put him out of TNA and wrestling for good.  I survived last week’s iMPACT without anyone trying to secure the bounty but I know that Dr. Stevie is out there and he’s looking for someone to take him up.  I just know that someone is going to try and collect it soon. I have that funny feeling in my head that it’s going to happen soon. That’s okay though because I am ready for whoever it is.

Wow everyone, it’s that time of the year again and TNA is gearing up for some international tours. Coming up in September we are touring Germany and Dublin, Ireland. I am so excited about it. I can’t wait to see our great fans and friends in Germany.  Not to mention we are returning to Dublin for another great show. The fans there are so crazy...I love them.  I also intend on drinking a couple of German Vitson beers. They are my favorite in the world, ya know.  We will be doing six great shows on this tour and will be coming to a town near you for all you German readers of the Monster Blog. You can get all ticket and show information at TNAWRESTLING.COM.
