Jetpacks! We were promised a future full of jetpacks. For what seems like forever, our iPhone-connected, Mars-roving, WiFi-enabled future didn't deliver on that promise. At long last, the wait is over.
For a mere 75 grand, you can have one of the 500 personal jetpacks that Martin Aircraft Company plans to build each year. These babies have a 30 mile range on premium gas, and they don't even require the operator to have a pilot's license!
The jetpack has a max speed of 60mph and can climb to over 8,000 feet in the air. It also comes with a low-altitude parachute in case things get a little crazy.
When all is said and done, the bottom line is that this is the real deal. Friggin' jetpacks, people!
