Post-coital bliss may be a thing of the past as a staggering number of people turn to social networking sites immediately following sex.
A new study has found a surprising number of people are turning to social networking websites immediately following sex. According to a poll of 771 people conducted on behalf of Retrevo.com, 36 percent of people under the age of 35 often use Facebook or Twitter immediately after sex. In the digital age it seems it’s more important to tell the world how good the sex was rather than spend some quality, intimate time with your lover.
Men were outed as the worst offenders and are generally twice as likely to tweet or update their status on Facebook following a good romp in the sack. This makes perfect sense as men like to brag and women like to snuggle. iPhone users were given a special mention as they are three times more likely than Blackberry users to hit the web after hitting it.
What do you think? Do you turn to social networking websites after sex?
