Comic-Con 2011: Red Band Trailer for Drive Slams the Accelerator

byTheta1138   July 22, 2011 at 2:00PM  |  Views:  |  Comment
We've been hearing about Drive, the car chase movie with the amazing cast, for months. First we heard everybody's favorite Mad Men cast member, Christina Hendricks, had signed on. Then we heard director Nicolas Winding Refn, who made the badass Bronson was directing. Then it actually won best director at the Cannes Film Festival, which means this is the first winning film at Cannes since Pulp Fiction that people might actually watch.

Now we finally get to see this movie in action and it...looks...awesome.

This is really that rare movie that has a killer cast, a great director, and what looks like a bunch of moments that will be in dude-film history forever. Like that scene with Ryan Gosling holding a bullet to some gangster head, with a hammer primed and ready to swing. Even better, the car chases look awesome. Drive slams into theaters September 16.
