48 Cylinder Motorcycle Might Be Slightly Excessive
There are certain people who live by the mantra, "too much is never enough." Simon Whitlock, the creator of this Kawasaki motorcycle, sporting 48-cylinders, six crankshafts, and six Jaguar E-type distributors, is such a man.
Whitlock cobbled together this monster from a series of engines pulled from reitred Kawasaki S1/KH250 bikes.
The result is a frankenbike that boasts a total displacement of 4200 cubic centimeters, and is basically six inline-eight engines, whose power is then run into a BMW transmission. Apparently, this bike is not just for show, and is in fact ride-able, though it's safe to say that this isn't built for late night bombing runs through the mountains.
