Waltzing Through War

September 25, 2008

Waltz With Bashir is a crazy, animated film about Ari Folman's experience as an Israeli soldier during the 1982 invasion of Lebanon. Afflicted with amnesia, Folman's protagonist can't remember what happened during the war, and seeks out fellow veterans to revive his memory. The film's stylilzed look is a refreshing change of pace from the slew of Frank Miller films hitting the screens. Take a look at Bashir's mix of 3-D and Flash imagery after the jump.
