Denzel Washington and John Travolta star in the remake of The Taking of Pelham 123, a thriller about a man who takes a New York city subway hostage. Travolta plays the hijacker and Washington the subway terminal employee. Washington tries to prevent innocent hostages from getting killed while Travolta stops at nothing to get his ransom money.
