A 90210-related nipple slip from AnnaLynne McCord, the guy from Nickelback rails against Guitar Hero, and fighting words about homosexuality from up-and-coming rapper Trick Trick...all that and more after the jump in today's Mantenna!
AnnaLynne McCord Exposes Herself and Bends Over
AnnaLynne McCord, of 90210 fame, had an unfortunate little nipple slip (“little” being open to interpretation) while filming for the show yesterday. To atone for this inadvertent exposure she promptly pranced about in a skimpy bikini and bent over so everyone could get a look at any part of her they’d missed in her previous scene. If you can’t win ‘em over with your acting, show ‘em what your momma gave you. [The Superficial]

Oldboy Remake Actually an Adaptation of Source Material
As if it’s going to make a substantive difference, Will Smith announced today that the remake of the Korean hit film Oldboy that he and Spielberg are working on won’t, in fact, be a remake of the original. It will be a new adaptation of the original source material. And this, somehow, is supposed to excuse the fact that two of the least edgy filmmakers in Hollywood are handling one of the edgiest stories to come out of the comics in awhile. Smith stated, "There's the original comics of Oldboy that they made the first film from. And that's what we're working from, not an adaptation of the film." Thanks, Will. That really reassures us. Nickelback Singer Chad Kroeger Hates 'Guitar Hero'
Nickelback dude Chad Kroeger is concerned about the state of the music industry and thinks there is a seriously lack of great rock bands in the world. "Start rock bands," said the singer, "Set down the Guitar Hero, learn how to play an actual guitar and start a band, because it's hard to find more bands to put a solid rock-and-roll package together." Rapper Says His Album Is Not for Homosexuals
Longtime Eminem collaborator Trick Trick announced that he doesn't want gay people to buy his new album The Villain. Trick Trick said: "I don't want your fa**ot money any g**amn way. I don’t like it. Carry that sh*t somewhere else." Trick Trick specifically called out openly gay celebrities Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres on a song called "Trick Trick," in which he threatens to send a "scud missile right through their f**king cruise ship." Guitar Hero for Amputees
Researchers at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) have been training amputees to use their biomechanical prosthetic arms by having them knock out a few rounds of Guitar Hero. The “next generation” arms use electrodes that sense impulses in amputees' remaining muscles. Then, the built-in computers translate those impulses into the movements they would have fostered in a normal arm and recreate it with the prosthetic. [IEEE Spectrum]
Obama’s FCC Transition Co-Chair a level 70 Tauren
Kevin Werbach, better known on World of Warcraft as Supernovan Jenkins is both the FCC transition team co-chair and a level 70 Tauren Shamen. Boing Boing’s sociolpolitical analysis: “Werbach is a Tauren (a minotaur), which basically makes him a Native Kalimdorian. The Tauren revere nature, living in wigwams near giant totem poles. As a Shaman (see below), he could also have chosen a troll (blue-skinned Jamaican-like monster) or an orc (green-skinned Klingon-like monster), so there must be something about the cow-man that appeals to his liberal guilt.” [Boing Boing]
Nissan Unleashes the Specs on the New 307Z
In keeping with the "affordable performance" theme of its 350Z predecessor, Nissan has priced the 370Z from $29,930 in the U.S. and is once again offering the model in both base and Touring trim. The new price represents a $1,420 increase over the 2008 350Z. Other divulged details include the introduction of Nissan’s award-winning 3.7L VQ37VHR V6 engine in the latest Z. This is the same engine as found in the Infiniti G37 Coupe, and in the new Z-car application, it will make 332hp (247kW). Torque is rated at 270lb-ft (366Nm). With solid performance, a low price tag, and Porsche-esque looks, expect to see a lot of these on the road next year. [MarketWatch]
