Michael Jackson Memorial Tickets Banned by eBay

Head honchos of the auction website eBay have launched an official strike against users who were trying to sell tickets for Michael Jackson's memorial service at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

As it was reported on Friday, passes for the event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday July, 7th were dispersed in an online lottery, with 17,500 lucky fans winning entry. Within minutes of the draw, some of the winners were attempting to sell their tickets for up to $7,500 on the site.

But eBay heads were quick to step in and ban users trying to trade Jackson memorial passes on the site. A spokesman said, "Any tickets for the memorial service will be taken down."

I’m assuming there are some serious Michael Jackson fans working in the offices of eBay.
