David Carradine Found Dead in Bangkok

bynathanbloch   June 04, 2009 at 1:40PM  |  Views:  |  Comment

If this was going to be a movie it would be titled Bangkok Crappy, because famous Kung Fu actor David Carradine, 72, has been found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok. Carradine was a long time friend of Spike and starred in the Spike original movie Kung Fu Killer, as well as hosted Spike's Fist of Fury. At this point it's looking like Carradine's death was accidental.

Bad times. Anyone familiar with Carradine's unique, transcendental presence on screen will mourn this particularly tragic death. We have Quentin Tarrantino to thank for bringing him back into the popular culture fold with his Kill Bill movies.

Rest in peace, Mr. Carradine. Your greatness will be missed.
