Jaguar Unveils Their New Hybrid for the Double D-bag Driver

Are you the kind of gearhead who has the money to afford something as high class as a Jaguar but would feel guilty for pouring carbon emissions into the atmosphere? Jaguar has the perfect car for you.

The automotive giant has unveiled its newest hybrid vehicle with a new concept called the C-X16 that combines the environmental sustainability of a hybrid with the sleek class of a Jaguar.

And unlike other hybrid cars that sacrifice looks and style for substance, Jaguar claims they have found the perfect mesh of both. This two-seat supercharged 3 liter V6 engine has an 8-speed transmission can go from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 186 mph. So even though it's a hybrid, you can still turn some heads on the road for reasons other than "Look at that dork in the hybrid!"

Of course, if you're going to drive a hybrid, you might as well get something out of it other than looks of pity. This hybrid can get up to 33 miles per gallon at the pump and the electric motor can draw 1.6 kilowatts an hour from its lithium ion battery, which can recharged through regenerative braking. That should help you keep the costs down since this model will set you back $127,000.
