Every year, close to two million people descend upon a small South Korean town for the ultimate dirty weekend. The town Boryeong is located on the South Korean coastline and is famous for its beaches and mud. Since 1998 the town has held its annual Mud Festival, where mud rich in minerals is dug up from surrounding areas and shipped to the town’s main beach for the world’s largest mud wrestling beach party. The event mostly attracts college aged foreigners and has been so successful that it is now the town’s main source of income.
