90210 Goes Sapphic
Things are heating up on the television show 90210 as two female characters get it on. Yes, the series is gearing up for its first lesbian make-out session. Characters Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Gia (Rumer Willis) lock lips in sexy new season of the CW show. Jessica Lowndes tells People magazine, “Adrianna and Gia share a special bond. My character starts questioning whether or not sexuality is measured on a spectrum, if it’s black and white or if it comes down to who you connect with and who you are compatible with. I’m excited as an actress to tell the story.” And we’re excited to see it. [People]
Jon Gosselin’s Playgirl Offer as Small as His Schlong
If Jon Gosselin ever wanted to pose nude for Playgirl magazine, he wouldn’t be doing it for the money. The magazine has discussed making an offer to Gosselin and that offer would be a measly $20,000 (which does not compare favorably to the $100,000 Levi Johnston received last year to pose nude in the mag). On the offer, Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio says, "His star is extinguishing, and he's not very [well endowed]. Honestly, it'd be more of a novelty than an actual sexy shoot." Ouch, but don’t think Gosselin won’t consider taking it all off for a paycheck-- word is he needs the cash. [Life and Style]
Guy Ritchie Set to Direct Excalibur
Fresh from the box office success of Sherlock Holmes, Guy Ritchie is set to take a stab at directing a new film version of Excalibur. The film is to be based on a treatment by comic book author Warren Ellis and will be produced by the team that brought 300 to the screen. The film is said to focus on the gathering on the knights and is said to be more in the tone of Star Wars. Another Excalibur film is also in the works, with Bryan Singer in talks to remake the 1981 version. [Movie Web]
Gorillaz Refused Katy Perry Collaboration

Animated supergroup Gorillaz have refused to collaborate with Katy Perry because she is marrying Russell Brand. Started by Blur’s Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz were apparently approached by Perry for a collaboration on their new record Plastic Beach. Unfortunately for Perry, her new husband-to-be is the reason why she’s gettin’ no studio love from the group. Bassist Murdoc Niccals stated: "No, I couldn't work with the woman while she's got Russell Brand all over her." These dudes rule. [Gigwise]
Tiger Woods’ Ex-Girlfriend is Pretty Sure He Didn’t Cheat on Her
In an interview with Golf.com, a girl who believes she exclusively dated Tiger Woods throughout his time at Stanford came to the embattled golfer’s defense in an adorable interview about fidelity. “The Tiger I knew was loyal, devoted, and self- controlled,” Irene Folstrom said about her ex-lover. “I’m not naive, but I can say with certainty that he was faithful during the time we dated.” Apparently Tiger developed his “game” at an earlier age than we thought. Venezuela Bans Hostile Video Games and Toys
In an effort to "help improve child education and prevent misconduct," the Venezuelan government began enforcing a law on March 3rd banning war video games and toys, imposing a fine and 2.5 years in prison on the production, distribution, sale, hiring, and use of video games and toys inciting violent behavior. Alberto Federico Ravell, former director of opposing news network Globovision, has already come on Twitter denouncing the authorities for seizing imported Gameboy, Wii and PlayStation 3 consoles, due to considering them violent. Sony PlayStation Phone Coming?
According to the WSJ, the PlayStation is apparently part of a larger push by Sony to create an iTunes-like ecosystem of products this year that connect to Sony Online Service, a network that would include a "smartphone capable of downloading and playing PlayStation games." It's claimed that Sony's working in conjunction with the folks at Sony Ericsson under the direction of Kunimasa Suzuki, an exec largely responsible for the VAIO line who's also involved with the PlayStation team.
