Demi Lovato Talks Rehab

Demi Lovato has broken her silence since leaving rehab. The 18-year-old Disney starlet released a short video message to fans thanking them for there support since undergoing treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”

Demi Lovato is ready to get back to work and thanked her fans for sticking by her during a sting in rehab. In a video message recorded at her home, Lovato said, “I wanted to send you guys a message because I know that you've seen me out and about and I wanted to let you know that I am back and am home. But I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the support you guys have given me along the way.”

The Sonny with a Chance star didn’t go into details about why she entered rehab. Reports suggest the young star battled with self-esteem issues, cutting and bulimia. Lovato played coy, telling fans, “The journey that I've been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with. People that are probably watching this video right now are dealing with the issues that I had to.”

The actress hopes to get back to work and strives to be a role model for youngster dealing with adolescent issues.
