Miley Cyrus Blasts “Friday” Singer Rebecca Black

During a recent interview, popper Miley Cyrus had a few harsh words for overnight sensation Rebecca Black and her insane Internet hit “Friday.” "It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour," Cyrus said. Ouch. After ripping Ms. Black an ironic new one, Miley even had the balls to tackle the subject of lip-syncing. "I don't lip-sync. I would rather someone say I sang like crap than have people see me lip-sync," Miley went on. "I mess up. There you go." Couldn’t have said it better myself. [Radar Online]

One Third of Women Feel Sad After Sex

The sex may be great, but that doesn’t stop many women from having a case of the post-coital blues. A new Australian study of 200 women found that 33 percent of females have experienced “melancholy, anxiety, and tearfulness” after a romp in the sack. This was so even if the sex was deemed “satisfactory.” Queensland University of Technology Associate Professor Robert Schweitzer believes a “biological predisposition may be… important in understanding the phenomenon and identifying women at risk of experiencing post-coital dysphoria.” He also thinks “psychological distress” may be a factor and should be further studied. According to an NBA spokesman, the league is apparently investigating Jay-Z's recent visit to the Kentucky Wildcats’ locker room after they clinched a trip to the Final Four on Sunday over North Carolina. According to NBA rules via a Tim Frank interview with the Associated Press, the league team personnel prohibit outside influences having contact with players who are not yet draft-eligible. An investigation is now underway. Jay can’t get no love, man. [AP]

Prince William Refuses Wedding Ring

Prince William has ruled out wearing a wedding ring when he gets married next month. The heir to the British thrown has eschewed the modern-day tradition of the male wearing a wedding band.” Interestingly, William’s father Prince Charles wears a wedding ring. A spokeswoman at the Royal palace confirmed William’s ring-less decision, releasing a statement saying, “There is only going to be one ring, in accordance with the couple's wishes.” The Prince’s wife-to-be Kate Middleton will be presented with a ring during the April 29 ceremony. The band will be fashioned from a tiny amount of Welsh gold (mined not far from where the couple met) given to William by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth. [People]
